According to research, a significant number of children in Lithuania experience potentially traumatic events, which puts children at risk of experiencing dangerous mental health problems in the future: depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, addiction, and behavioral problems. Timely identification and selection of appropriate help can be of great benefit to children, families and society.

The aim of the project

It is planned:

•    Implement TF-CBT assessment tools for children's traumatic experiences (CATS 2.0, based on DSM5 and ICD-11, Sachser et al., 2017; CASSS, Malecki & Demaray, 2002; CPTCI-S, McKinnon et al., 2016; MSPSS, Steine et al., 2012; PSS, Nordahl, Zambrana, & Forgatch, 2016; PCL-5, Hem, Hussain, Wentzel-Larsen, & Heir, 2012; SMFQ, Sachser et al., 2017; ITQ, Haselgruber et al. , 2020; CTQ, Bernstein, Stein, Newcomb et al., 2003; ADES-8, Bernstein & Fink, 1998).
•    To evaluate the effectiveness of the digitized TF-CBT methodology for children and adolescents in Lithuania.
•    Install the Lithuanian version of TF-CBT Web.2 for the training of specialists (psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers or guardians).
