The Research Council of Lithuania will launch the Baltic Research Program call for proposals

The Baltic Research Program Committee of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norway Financial Mechanism (NOR) endorsed the suggestion of the Research Council of Lithuania to launch a call for proposals in Lithuania. The call is expected to be launched in February.
Research projects must address at least one of the topics under five thematic priorities.

The eligible duration of the projects is 36 months. Applications with partners from all Baltic States and one Donor State partner may apply for a project grant up to € 1,000,000.

Cooperation among project partners from all Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) with at least one partner from Norway and/or Iceland and/or Liechtenstein (donor project partners) is mandatory. Eligible applicants are research organisations established in Lithuania. List of these institutions is provided in the state Register of Education and Research Institutions in the Information, Consultation and Guidance System, AIKOS (www.aikos.smm.lt).

The call information will be available on the RCL website www.lmt.lt

The main goal of the Baltic Research Programme is to enhance research-based knowledge development in Baltic States through research cooperation with Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. During the programme period, three open calls are announced: one in Estonia (2018), and two calls in Latvia and in Lithuania (2020) respectively.

The Research Council of Lithuania is the Programme Operator for the Baltic Research Program funded by the European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norway Financial Mechanism (NOR) 2014-2021.
